ALBINA KRAGELJ was born in Celje and spent her childhood in Frankolove. In 1993, she moved to Sweden, attended painting courses in Gothenburg, first at TBV (educational center, majoring in painting), then a course at Domen Konstskolan. In 2001, she completed her studies at ABF (Arbetarnas Bildningsforbund). Today he lives and works in his native Radenci. She is a member of the Mavrica Art Society in Murska Sobota, a member of the Tuba Art Society in Izola, a member of the Sveti Jurij Art Society and a member of Ars viva (Institute for Cultural Integration and Socialization of Social Groups). She had her first solo exhibition in 1990 at Ljubljanska banka. Since then, she has had 19 solo exhibitions, 12 of which were in Sweden and Slovenia. She participated in 82 group presentations. She received several awards and recognitions for her work.
