Jure Cekuta, a world-renowned Slovenian author, was born on June 6, 1952 in Celje. In 2007, at the Faculty of Comparative Arts in Belgrade with prof. Slobodan Đuričković obtained the title of Master of Arts. In 2016, under the mentorship of the great cosmopolitan prof. dr. Dragan Radenović obtained a doctorate at the Belgrade Metropolitan University. He actually started his art education very early, including at the University of Hawaii, from where his artistic journey took him to the USA and Europe. In California, he was friends with famous personalities such as Clint Eastwood, Hugh Hefner, Tina Turner and many others. There, his works were taken by art lovers as equal to Picasso's, and thus were sold for millions of dollars. Since 1976, he has had over 200 solo exhibitions around the world (New York, Dubai, Chicago, Carmel, Honolulu, Tokyo...). Involvement in charitable causes also played an important role in his life. Above all, he advocated for the weakest members of our society.
